Swancar Farm

Swancar Farm is the venue I’ve shot at the most out of any but it’s anything but samey and boring. Rebecca & Tom’s wedding was a perfect example of how each wedding I’ve shot there is unique. People are always first and foremost for me, their actions and stories are always the first building blocks of my films, after all I’m there to document the day of two people; not bricks and mortar.

That being said the venue a couple choose is a character itself and when it changes as much as Swancar over the seasons it makes each wedding there feel unique. Swancar is a working farm and as such has a changing crop as the year passes by, the fields give a new look to the venue every season and it’s wonderful, I’ve yet to film the ever illusive hay bales but I’ve got my fingers crossed for them one day! Another variable is the weather and Rebecca & Tom got one of the best sunsets I’ve ever had the pleasure to witness, along with Chris Snowden Photography we captured some really beautiful images.
